Our team is a USA Swimming year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

All of our coaches have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. All coaches have completed the Safety Training for Swim Coaches requirement and all have completed background screening through USA Swimming and through the YMCA.  Our Head Coach has his Level 4 American Swim Coach Association certification while our Assistant Head Coaches have their Level 2 certifications.  The Boise Y Swim Team has achieved Level 1 status in USA Swimming’s Club Recognition Program.

The Boise YMCA Swim Team is a non-profit club and is run by its elected Swim Council which meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. All parents are welcome at each meeting and are encouraged to become involved in team activities and fundraisers.
