Groups and Schedules    
(Practice Times below are Fall Practice Times)

         YELLOW SOCKEYES:

·         Participants are 11 & Under. 

·         Three 45-minute practices are offered each week plus a 1 hour practice on Saturday.  70% of the time is spent on stroke technique.

·         Practice Times:  West Y/City:  M/W/F 5:45-6:30 p.m.  SAT:  9:00-10:00am

                           Downtown:   T/Th/F  4:45-5:30 p.m.    

WHITE SOCKEYES:

·         Swimmers are 12 & Under.

·         Three 45-minute practices are offered each week plus a 1 hour practice on Saturday.  50-70% of the time is spent on stroke technique.

·         Practice Times: West Y/City:      M/W/F 5:00-5:45 p.m. SAT 9-10:00 a.m.

                         Downtown:        M/W/F 4:45-5:30 p.m.

RED SOCKEYES:

·         Swimmers are 10-12 years old.

·         Five one-hour practices are offered each week plus a 1-1/2 hour practice on Saturday. 40-50% of the time is spent on stroke technique.

·         Practice Times: West Y/City:      M-F  5:30-6:30 p.m., SAT 7:30 -9:00 a.m.

                         Downtown:         M-F  3:45-4:45 p.m.

BLUE SOCKEYES:

·         Swimmers are 13 and older.

·         50-60% of the time is spent training the different energy systems.

·         Five 75 minute practices are offered each week plus a 90 minute practice on Saturday.

·         Practice Times: West Y/City: M-F 3:30-4:45 p.m., SAT 7:00-8:30 a.m.

                          Downtown:    M- F 3:30-4:45 p.m.

     SILVER SOCKEYES:

·         Swimmers are 12 and older.

·         Swimmers commit to excellent attendance and quality workout efforts.

·         70-90% of the time is spent training the different energy systems.

·         Five 90 minute practices are offered each week plus a 2 hour practice on Saturday.

·         Practice Times: West Y/City:      M-F 3:30-5:00 p.m., SAT 7:00-9:00 a.m.

                          Downtown:       M-F  3:30-5:00 p.m.

SENIOR SOCKEYES:

·         Swimmers are 13 and older.

·         Swimmers commit to excellent attendance and effort, and have surpassed senior meet standards.

·         80-90% of the practice time is spent training the different energy systems.

·         Six 2 hour practices plus three 90 minute weekday morning practices are offered each week.

·         Practice Times: West Y/City:      M-F 3:30-5:30 p.m., SAT 7:00-9:00 a.m.
